Gracie

🐾Gracie is a recently spayed 5 yo old Golden. She is good with older kids, okay with most other dogs and great with cats. Her ideal home would be as an only dog or with one other larger submissive dog.

🐾Gracie is a big, fun-loving, professional couch potato/yard lounger. She is an English Cream that has a loving personality, an even bigger heart, and absolutely loves spending time with her people.

🐾Gracie is very chill and is happiest when she's lounging near you, carrying around her favorite toy, lounging outside (she loves a nice fenced yard) or soaking up all the attention she can get.

🐾She's always ready for a short walk around the neighborhood and is excellent on a leash. Gracie will thrive with a family that enjoys a low key lifestyle and can keep both her mind and body engaged.

🐾We were told that Gracie maybe lived mostly outdoors in a fenced yard, so she'll need a family willing to continue working with her on commands like sit, stay and come. She’s great at letting us know when she needs to go outside to potty. With consistency and patience, she is catching on quickly. She hasn’t had any accidents. She can bark when she feels as if she’s being left out of the fun, but quickly responds to corrections.

🐾Gracie is very affectionate and loves attention. She is acclimating to her foster families two small dogs. She prefers more submissive companions.

🐾Gracie gives clear signals to other dogs around food and toys. She is in charge. She is exhibiting some resource guarding around other dogs near her food, yet isn’t food or treat motivated. She likes to be the center of attention and is learning to share. She wants all of her human’s attention.

🐾Gracie would do best with someone who has experience with rescue dogs and doesn't mind working on her manners as she may occasionally jump up when she's excited. She'd love a home where she can get moderate exercise, continue learning good manners, and be included in family activities. She’d love a dog door.

🐾If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who's always ready for couch snuggles and endless love, Gracie is ready to meet you! Gracie thus far is completely non responsive to cats in her foster.
