Maple

🐾Introducing adoptable Maple. She is a sweet, 14 month old gorgeous Golden with adorable white tufts of fur on her chest and face.

🐾 Maple is an affectionate girl who loves being around people and wants to be part of whatever you are doing. She enjoys long walks, hiking, exploring new places, and rolling around in the grass. She has a naturally dominant personality, so she does best with someone who can provide clear boundaries, consistency, and confident leadership. With the right guidance, she settles in well and is eager to learn.

🐾Maple will need an active home and although she is crate trained, IDGRR wants her to go into a home where she’s left alone no longer than 3-4 hours.

🐾She’s excellent on a leash, has great recall and likes car rides. She spay is scheduled for August 20th.

🐾She is being surrendered as work schedules are causing Maple to be crated during the day. From her surrendering family-“At her best, Maple is an incredibly affectionate dog who wants to be with her people all of the time. She follows us room to room, loves to cuddle, greets us with full-body tail wags and plenty of kisses, and somehow ends up sleeping upside down. She loves hiking, playing with toys, and running around in the yard. She's even learning to enjoy the water. Maple is very smart, highly food motivated and picks up new commands quickly. She's made a lot of progress building her confidence and does especially well when she has patient, consistent leadership. She thrives when she has both mental and physical outlets and would do best with someone who enjoys training and wants an active, loyal companion”

🐾Maple is in Coeur d’Alene. As per IDGRR protocol, we try to place our rescues as close to where they are being surrendered as possible.

🐾 Maple has completed the following-Training: obedience level at Camp K-9 Post Falls; knows Sit, stay, down, heel, no, shake, place.; crate-trained.

🐾 Maple has not been raised in a house with kids, and we are unsure how she would interact, so we’ll only feel comfortable adopting into a home with children over the age of 12.
