About Luna
🐾Meet gorgeous 5 year old Luna. She is a 53 pound flat coat retriever. Luna is being lovingly surrendered by her family due to allergies with a child
🐾 Luna loves playing fetch with a ball in the park...she is fast and loves to run! Luna loves swimming anywhere, especially if a rock or ball is thrown into the water for her to retrieve. Luna loves running in the foothills with her surrendering family.
🐾 Luna also loves snuggling next to her family members and will sit on your feet if she wants cuddles. She loves dog toy stuffed animals which are fuzzy/tough-long stuffed animals are her favorite.
🐾Luna thinks that any treat is great. Her tummy can handle human food and it doesn't affect her appetite. She will always eat!
🐾Luna loves her surrendering family and is great with their two boys, 6 and 8 years old. She enjoys running in the foothills or walking off leash along a canal. If she’s around a body of water she loves to play fetch with rocks and dives in without reservation. When she is at home, she is comfortable just laying around watching the boys be crazy around her. She has always been amazing around household items and only chews on what toys are hers. She has been raised around a cat, and does great with her. While they mostly leave one another alone she would gladly welcome a friendly playmate. She knows sit, lay down, off, outside, easy (when walking); she obeys everyone!
🐾 Luna has been known to jump on a counter or two. She has fear around men she does not know, particularly if they are wearing a hat. She will need slow introductions-once she is comfortable with men she has no issues. She likes to bark at delivery people.
🐾 As always, priority given to our previously vetted applicants in the Boise and surrounding areas.
Special Needs
Reactions to strangers: she is apprehensive. She does not like meeting new men especially if they have a hat on; She is used to loud noises and does great with rough housing around her.

Allergies: unknown. She does lick her paws in the summer after being in our backyard.
Current food: Blue Buffalo, salmon or beef I believe, 3ish cups a day
Last vet visit: she had an allergic reaction on her neck, but it was just an infection
