Eli

💕🐾Introducing 4 year old Eli. This handsome hunk of love is a beautiful active neutered Golden Retriever. He is located in Boise. Eli loves everyone! He loves to play with other dogs and will snuggle with your kids and cat. Eli is a fantastic dog.

🐾💕From his foster around an ideal forever home for Eli “He loves to play, so maybe someone with a younger dog(s) that wants to play. House dog- he sleeps on my daughter's bed at night. Someone not opposed to a crate where he can feel safe when they leave. Kids would be great (he is really sweet with special needs kids too). I know if someone had the time and patience to invest in him that Eli would do great. As he is so high energy, Eli will need someone who understands he needs 3 weeks to fully decompress. He will pant a lot and feel stress. He’s very intuitive. Trust the process. He is a runner so someone that knows he has to be monitored for the first few weeks. Once he knows home-base he will come right back. You could literally pull his tail, pull cheatgrass from his toes, sticks your head in his mouth, take his food, he does not care. He is not food aggressive and he is good about waiting his turn to be fed.”

🐾💕 Eli will need a very active situation. He’s great on leash.
