Rocket

🐾Rocket is a young, strong and handsome Golden Retriever. He is estimated to be around 18 months old. He’s a big teenager and thinks he’s still a little puppy. He’s very strong and can jump on humans. He’s driven by the ball. He’ll need consistent training.

🐾He is crate trained and vibration/beep collar conditioned. Both will come with him. He’s great on a leash.

🐾Rocket would be best in a home with an active owner and a fenced yard. He’s good with kids, yet very active.

🐾Rocket has been living on a farm in Coeur d’Alene with baby goats and chickens. Rocket will need to be in a home without chickens and cats. He kills chickens. He is used to being herded by a female alpha dog and a mini dachshund. He plays well with most other dogs.

Even though he’s a puppy at heart, he is always very gentle with the kids. He’s an amazing babysitter and protector on the farm, he follows our 4 year old around, never letting him out of his sight. He’ll never turn down a good snout scratch. He will be unbelievably missed by our family, though we are really hoping he finds his people in this journey with the right home for his goofy, sweet and unconditionally loving self.”
